Riihimäkeläinen Concrete Swine soittaa hevirokkia suoraviivaisesti ja ilman kommenvenkkejä. Yhtyettä johtavat kähetä vokaalit, jotka muistuttavat enemmän julistusta kuin laulamista. Ensimmäinen huomion kiinnittävä biisi on Man To Lead, jonka nykivä liidiriffi groovaa hienosti. Huuliharpun käyttö kolmessa biisissä toimii tässä yhteydessä myös hyvin, johtuen siitä, että sitä käytetään bluesilla otteella. Save Yourself toimii myös melko hyvin, varsinkin kertsin kakkososa, joka onkin lyhyydestään huolimatta parasta laulantaa koko levyllä. Neuvoisin yhtyettä käyttämään laulujen osalta enemmän sävyjä, tasaisen intensiivisen huutamisen sijasta. Myös paremmin korvaan tarraavat lyriikat ja sitä myötä äänteet auttaisivat tällaisessa musiikissa.

Riihimäki's Concrete Swine plays heavy rock in a no-frills, head-on vein. Raspy, almost shouted vocals, lending more to proclamation than singing, front this band. The first song to grab my attention was Man to Lead, due to the jerky lead riff, which carries a good groove. The use of harmonica on three of the songs here works rather well, due to the bluesy application of said instrument. Save Yourself also works pretty well, especially the second part of the chorus, which is the strongest vocal interpretation on this album, regardless of its brevity. Were I this band, I would consider utilizing more color in the vocals overall, instead of shouting with steady intensity throughout. Also, some catchier lyrics, and thereby phonetics, would lend well to this kind of music.
