Kulttimainetta nauttiva saksalaislafka Elektrohasch se vain työntää ulos toinen toistaan likaisempia, rosoisempia ja vahvasti jamittelevia yhtyeitä. Hainloosea voisi hyvinkin sanoa stoner rockiksi, sillä sen käyttämät rullaavat riffit ja mantrainen tunnelma ovat hyvin lähellä stonerista tuttua horjumattomuutta. Los Natasin tyylisestä stonerista ollaan kuitenkin kaukana, sillä mukana on myös tyypillisesti Elektrohasch-julkaisuilta löytyvää southern-vibaa. Jos et ymmärrä yhtään, mitä yritän selittää, suosittelen kuuntelemaan tämän lafkan julkaisuja kokonaiskuvan saavuttamiseksi.
Biisit kuten Cold Water sisältävät perin siistiä tunnelmaa ja epävakaista rytmiikkaa. Mukana on myös hiukan 70-lukulaista fiilistä, joka ainakin itseäni muistuttaa Mississippistä. Parit levyltä löytyvät instrumentaalijamit eivät puolestaan ole albumin herkullisimpia saati helpoimpia hetkiä. Kokonaisuus on kuitenkin varsin rento, southern-henkinen, boogie ja hyvinkin retro. Hittejä tai radioystävällistä yleisfiilistä on turha odottaa, ja tuotantokin on itse asiassa hieman tunkkainen. Tekee tehtävänsä, yhtä kaikki.
German cult indie label Elektrohasch keeps on pumping out the dirty, gritty rock with a heavy focus on jamming. Hainloose might be considered stoner rock to a certain degree, with it's steady, rolling riffage and mantric feel. Yet, this isn't Los Natas' type of stoner rock, moreso a bit southern flavored, with a vibe that fits with the Elektrohasch sound that the label is known for endorsing. For those of you who don't catch what I'm talking about you need to check out some of this company's releases for a better picture.
Songs like Cold Water utilize some cool moodiness in addition to erratic rhythms to make an interesting whole. There's a bit of the 70's in all of this, bringing to mind distant recalls of Mississippi for some reason. A few instrumental jams might or might not be your cuppa but as background music they flow just fine. Overall pretty laid back, somewhat southern, fairly boogie and a whole lotta retro. No hits or radio-friendly songwriting and the production is a bit stuffy but good for what it's designed for. Give it a shot!
