01. Backdoor Men
02. Flying Man |
Backdoor Men on keskitempoinen rokkipala, jossa Peer Güntin sonudia on päivitetty vain miksauksella.
Singlen kakkosraita Flying Man ("It's raining men", kuten laulussa sanotaan, koska molemmissa biiseissä on sama aihe) on hieman koukkuisempi ja kevyempi vetäisy.
Kaiken kaikkiaan, aika standarditavaraahan tämä.
After a mega-long hiatus from recording the legendary Peer Günt gears up to make their comeback, and so we get to disect the first fruits of their next much-anticipated album.
Much like AC/DC and Motörhead you always know what you are going to get with this band. Backdoor Men (I can only fathom the connotation there) is very much the same old coming of the same old cavalry, but then again thousands of Peer Günt fans would have it no other way.
Backdoor Men is a mid-tempo rocker in which the Peer Günt sound has been updated a margin in the mixing alone. It's not a classic number by any stretch, as I can guarantee this band has produced better cuts than this, but it is an easy sing-along number.
That said, accompanying track Flying Man (it's raining men as the song goes, as both songs have something to due with the bastards), is a bit more hooky and a bit lighter.
All in all, standard fare.
