Spiha palaa pitkän tauon jälkeen Idols-semifinalisti Anna Paatero touvissaan. Tämä sinkkukappale ei ole oikeastaan raskas, eikä takuulla ainakaan metallia. Tämä on vaihtoehtorockia. Tunteikas ja melankolinen Icebreaker on melodinen, mikä osaltaan johtuu Paateron ja Henry Lee Rootsin duettovokaaleistakin.

Ehkä vika on omissa korvissani, mutta en kuule syytä siihen, miksi tämä biisi on julkaistu singlenä. Icebreaker ei ole niin erinomainen raita. Sen sovitus toki kasvaa mallikkaasti ja kertsikin on ihan hyvä. En vain kuule sitä "isoutta" tai mahtipontista pop-koukkua, joka saisi kuuntelijan kastelemaan sänkynsä.

Spiha is back after a lengthy absence and they have Idols-semifinalist Anna Paatero in tow. This single track is not really heavy, and it certainly is not metal. This is alternative rock. Moody and melancholic, Icebreaker is melodic, aided in part by the duet vocals of Paatero and Henry Lee Roots.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't hear the argument for this being an actual single. Icebreaker is not that much of a standout track in and of itself. It does however manage to grow well over the course of the arrangement, and the chorus is good enough. I just don't hear the overall panache or grandiose pop that would make the listener leave a wet spot on their bed.
