Tanskalaisyhtye D-A-D:n tuore levy on nimetty omaperäisesti Dic Nii Lan Daft Erd Arkiksi. Vaikka yhtyeen edellinen levy Monster Philosophy esitti asiansa hieman tätä uutukaista rankemmin, on myös tämä tuore kiekko ihan timmiä tavaraa. 

D-A-D:n paras ase on aina ollut bändin uskomaton groove, jota maustetaan tietenkin rockmaailman terävimmillä, koomisimmilla ja ironisimmilla lauluilla. I Want What She's Got kuulostaa omiin korviini selkeältä hittisinkulta, biisistä kun löytyy niin sitä edellä mainittua groovea kuin siistejä kitarajuttujakin. Fast On Wheelsin tunnelma on rennosti ja nautinnollisesti rullaava. Last Time in Neverlandin iskevä kertosäe jää päähän soimaan. Breaking Them Heart By Heart on yksi omista suosikeistani pirteän melodian ja virtaviivaisen rokkaavuutensa ansiosta - varsinkin kappaleesta löytyy vielä loistava kertosäekin. Svengaava Your Lips Are Sealed on tunnelmallinen, tunteikas ja osuva päätös levylle.

Jään toki kaipaamaan levylle enemmän raskautta ja takapuolelle potkimista, mutta tällaisenaankin lätty on ihan hyvä.

Denmark's hard rocking D-A-D has a pretty uniquely coined new album in Dic Nii Lan Daft Erd Ark. Whereas their last album Monster Philosophy was a tad harder rocking than this newbie, D-A-D's latest offering is still a solid listen.

The one thing that has always been a tremendous asset to D-A-D has been their groove in addition to some of the sharpest, comical and ironic vocals that there's to be had in all of rock. I Want What She's Got has that hit single feel in my ears, with tons of the aforementioned groove and a nasty, fun lick. Fast On Wheels has an enjoyable, laid-back roll to it. Last Time In Neverland has a punchy chorus that is memorable. Breaking Them Heart By Heart is one of my personal favorites here, with a feel-good melody and smooth rocking build, complete with a killer chorus once again. Your Lips Are Sealed is a moody, emotional album closer that swings its way through a fitting finale.

All in all, I could do with more heavier songs and kick ass material, but this is still a decent album all in all.
