Tamperelainen space rock -pumppu Jupiter koostuu Uniklubin, Bloodpitin ja Negativen miehistöstä. Vaikka nyt käsillä oleva sinkku onkin hyvin pop-henkinen, alleviivataan space rock -vaikutteita lehdistötiedotteessa - toki sen ominkin korvin huomaa - ja kieltämättä juuri ääniefektit kuorruttavatkin biisin nätisti. Kenties Ihmishirviön perusteella Jupiteria voisi kuvata moderniksi, raskaskätiseksi popiksi. Kysessä on joka tapauksessa radioystävällinen, liikkeissään notkea ja hyvin kirjoitettu kappale. Täyspitkä albumi todentaa varmasti enemmän myös bändin space rock -vaikutteita.

Tampere's space pop rock outfit Jupiter is comprised of members from Uniklubi, Bloodpit and Negative. While this single is very pop-minded indeed, their press sheet claims the space rock reference, which can be attributed - at least in my ears - most of all to the sound effects that make the icing on this cake. At least on the merits of the Ihmishirviö single alone, Jupiter is modern heavy-handed pop. That said, the song is radio-friendly and moves along at a nice pace, with good songwriting sensibilities. The full-length LP will be the telling tale behind this band and their space rock aspirations.
