Hate Gallery on vähän kuin sekoitus punkia, hard rockia, elektroa ja uutta aaltoa. Itse asiassa se kuulostaakin hyvältä ja omaperäiseltä samanaikaisesti. Johtohahmona toimii Janne Jarvis ja mukana ovat myös Petja Lepola sekä Warrior Soul -hemmot Rille Lundell ja Freddie Cocker.

Viva La Resistance on kannanotto Isoveljen valvovaan silmään, jonka myötä henkilökohtaiset oikeudet häviävät, viranomaisten ote tiukkenee ja meidän tuntemamme yhteiskunta tukahtuu. Juuri tämä viesti sattuukin olemaan lähellä omaa sydäntäni, sillä olen herännyt samaisiin epäkohtiin viime vuosina erittäin voimakkaasti, ja jos aikakone olisi olemassa, matkustaisin mielihyvin reilusti ajassa taaksepäin.

Ensimmäinen heikompi raita levyllä on The Becoming, joka raahautuu eteenpäin elottoman oloisesti, mutta kenties tämä on ollut lätyn sanomankin kannalta tarkoituksellista. Myös Love Shine On on aavistuksen tylsä veto, vaikka se onkin levyn raidoista "toiveikkain". Muuten levyn kappaleet ovatkin sitten energisiä mutta vahvasti melankoliassa uitettuja ja suurimmaksi osaksi hyviä.

Hate Gallery is like a mix between punk, hard rock, elektro and new wave. Actually, it's pretty good and unique at the same time. Finn Janne Jarvis heads up this outfit, which also includes current members of Warrior Soul – sons of Finnish mothers – Rille Lundell and Freddie Cocker, plus Petja Lepola.

Viva La Resistance is a social commentary on the watchful eye of Big Brother, the disappearing of your personal rights in the modern age, tightened homeland security and the end of society as we know it. That said, the message here is very close to my heart, as I have woken up big time over the past few years to all of the aforementioned, and if I could find a time-machine I'd go back in time big time!

The first poor track in my ears is The Becoming, which drags and feels lifeless, but perhaps that was the intent of the band due to the message once again. Love Shine On is also a tad boring, although it's the ”hope” track in the message of the overall album. Otherwise, the songs here are energetic but strung with melancholy, and good for the most part.
